Are you still talking about football? Yeah, but without NFC North. Then let's talk football. Welcome back everybody. This is Headed North, an NFC North podcast, and I'm your host, d-tron, and I'd like to get this show started off with a very happy Thanksgiving to you and your family, that's if you're hearing the show late on Wednesday night or early Thursday morning. I hope you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
Speaker 1:With that being said, I don't really have a show for you this week because, well, it was a short week and I didn't get to it. Plus, I'm trying to take some time to relax with my family. But before I do that, I certainly got to tell you just a couple of things. One Detroit beat the Colts, but we knew that was going to happen. Chicago lost another close battle to a divisional opponent well, could probably see that coming too and the Green Bay Packers smacked up a Brock Purdy list 49ers group. I'm not recapping those games because, well, we've got football today slash tomorrow, depending on when you're listening and I just want to get you my spread in the field because I feel like I still don't want to miss an opportunity to make you some money. So last week I went 66 percent and I'm going to blame it on the fact that they announced Purdy wasn't going to play after I posted my show, because had I known that, I definitely would not have told you to take the 49ers, but otherwise the Bears covered on that three and a half for the spread. And the lions well, I told you you could take them back 10. They won by 18. So all in all, my my picks have gotten a 55.5 percent on the year, and here's three more to wrap up today's show and get you into your thanksgiving. You've got the lions and the bears. The lions are minus 10. Take the minus 10. You could take this minus 13. You could probably take this minus 16. I think the lions are going to come out, finally get over the thanksgiving hump and probably win by close to 21 points. That's three touchdown scores. I know that sounds a lot, but if you've watched them in games against teams that they should beat, they have beat them convincingly. So that's, take the Lions, midas TN for sure.
Speaker 1:Green Bay versus Miami. I'm going to say take Green Bay First. They looked great against the 49ers. But also, this is going to be a nighttime game and it is in Lambeau. Miami has a history of not performing well in these kinds of games. So well, take Green Bay, and they're minus three. You could take minus three. You could take it back to minus six if you want to make that line a little more enticing. And to close out, we've got the Cardinals the first place.
Speaker 1:Cardinals, by the way, taking on the Minnesota Vikings in Minnesota. Minnesota is a minus three and a half. Take Minnesota minus three and a half. I actually prefer this line minus two, but either way, I think they get the win Usually. I am at this point calling Minnesota a fraud in having a great record but not really playing up to that. I think Arizona's record not even the record, I think them being first place in the division is really I don't know how to describe it. It's not indicative of who they are, in my opinion, as a football team, and I think the Minnesota Vikings are better than them and they're going to show it on Sunday. So, to recap, take the Lions minus 10,.
Speaker 1:Take Green Bay minus three and a half and take the Minnesota Vikings minus three and a half. Those are my picks for the week. Sorry, we got a condensed show. I'll get you back on Sunday with a recap of or Monday with a recap of everything that happened over Thanksgiving and Sunday. And if you come back to the show, which I hope you do, make sure you've got your bags packed because we are headed north. I'm Detron Peace. Are you still talking about football? Yeah, the Battalion NFC North. The list of football.
